Nick Totton is a psychotherapist, trainer and supervisor with 35 years’ experience. He originally trained as a neo-Reichian body psychotherapist, since when his approach has become broad based and open to the spontaneous and unexpected. He has spoken, taught and published widely on body psychotherapy, psychotherapy and politics, and eco-psychology.
He has established a training in his own synthesis, Embodied-Relational Therapy, which has been thriving for around twenty years; and more recently set up the related but distinct practice of Wild Therapy. Both of these now continue without his hands-on involvement.
He has published seventeen books including “Body Psychotherapy: An Introduction“, “Psychotherapy and Politics“, “Wild Therapy: Undomesticating Inner and Outer Worlds“, “Reichian Growth Work: Melting the Blocks to Life and Love“ and “Embodied Relating: The Ground of Psychotherapy“, and many others.
